Machinerooms is a ‘state of the art’ recording studio within a renowned media hub in Cardiff. Launched in 2009 and designed to provide a ‘one stop shop’ for recording, production & composition, to a wide range of media & music clients. The complex also houses ITV Wales Independent film and animation companies.
Machinerooms offers the best in professional digital recording combined with the soul and warmth of vintage outboard equipment, microphones and a no-compromise attitude towards the quality of your recording.
Machinerooms has a relaxed feel that encourages great performances and creativity from concept to realisation. The studio can cater for any project of any size, with full sound-to-picture capabilities. Machinerooms offer a complete service, including private ‘chill-out’ areas, secure onsite parking, specialist catering & accommodation packages on request.

For mixing and producing, outboard speaks volumes with hardware compression from Drawmer, Toft, Audio Design, Dbx and SSL, AMS reverbs and delay; making it versatile and fun to work in.
